Testimonials

-My husband and I were having issues with our 16-year-old son both in school and at home. Our son hit it off with Dan immediately. After few weeks we started to notice that our son wasn’t so angry at home and his situation improved at school with better grades and less calls to us from the school. I would recommend Dan highly.       LH

-It's been a great experience having Daniel T Broughton as my professional counselor. He is personable, a good listener and empathetic to my situation. His demeanor allows for meaningful conversations. I feel comfortable and safe in his care. I leave sessions feeling lighter, confident and usually with a smile. He offers virtual and telephone appointments as well. He was recommended by Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance. I would recommend his services to my friends and family as well.           Diane Piercy

-Dan has been a very calm and uplifting presence for me in my life. He is wise, kind and helps make you feel comfortable right away. He has helped me through a lot of difficult times using empathy, care and understanding. I recommend him to anyone in need of mental health treatment!       Sarah Mellott

-Our marriage had been struggling for some time. We were having trouble even finding a therapist that was taking new patients. Dan got us in right away. After a few sessions, together and individually, He suggested that we needed help with our problem resolution skills. Also, we discovered that my husband and I didn’t “fight fair” and that the hurtful things that we said to each other while fighting was having bad effects on us long term. Things are better now. Dan helped us a lot!       SJ

-Our 15 year old daughter was struggling with body issues and her performance in school. Dan guided us through the process to get an IEP meeting with the school staff. He even attended the meeting.  Our daughter says she really likes talking to Dan. It’s a good place for her to vent and get everything off her chest.         Brian Roberts

-After my car accident and my wife's cancer diagnosis,  I slipped into a deep depression. I went to a very dark place became self-destructive and verbally abusive towards my wife to the point where she left and moved in with her sister in another state. After a second, drunken car accident, I ended up in a hospital psych ward in another county. Somehow, Dan found out where I was and actually came to visit me a couple of times during my two-week stay. Now after nearly eight months, my wife is back home, I am sober and back to my competitive bicycle racing. I am grateful to Mr. Broughton for sticking with me during those dark days.      GR
